Artist's Description
I found this windmill and antique truck in Meridian, Idaho not far from our house. The owner of the property was kind enough to allow me to take some photos. The windmill is a Fairbury and was manufactured at the Consolidated Wagon and Machine Company in Salt Lake City, Utah. The windmill was originally located on a ranch near Pocatello, Idaho and had fallen over. The present owner bought it and had it installed on his property in Meridian, Idaho. He was also looking for an antique truck. He didn't want yellow. The rancher he bought the windmill from said he knew where a 41 Chevrolet truck was located but it was yellow. He decided to buy it along with the two seeders behind it and had them all moved to his property.
